Job Placement Process

At Pearl Nannies, we specialize in creating matches between nannies and families that are made to last. We offer a personalized matching process, industry standard benefits in all positions, and job search support, all at no cost to nannies. We’re always accepting applications.

We get to know you.

We review your application and keep your information on file. When we have a job that aligns with what you’re seeking, we reach out to schedule a preliminary phone interview. We then invite you to meet in person to ensure you’re a good fit for Pearl Nannies and the position you’re applying for. We’ll talk about your experience, your approach as a nanny, and what’s important to you in a nanny job.

We screen you.

All nannies must complete our 9-point screening process. We verify your highest level of education, speak to three professional references, confirm your employment history, verify your vaccination status, verify your CPR certification, complete an online presence screening, and run a comprehensive background check, and run a driving record check.

We create a candidate profile.

When you’re determined to be a great match for the position you’re applying for, we create a candidate profile that outlines your experience, qualifications, and childcare approach. We present your profile to the hiring family for their review. When the family chooses to interview you, we reach out to schedule the meeting and offer our support to prepare.

We finalize your employment.

When the family chooses to hire you, we create an employment agreement that lays out the terms of your new position. We then contact you to go over the employment agreement before getting signatures from all parties. Before employment starts, we help wrap up any final details.

We stay in touch.

We will remain in touch with both you and your new employer family to ensure things are going smoothly. We are always available to provide any resources or assistance you may need.
