I started Pearl Nannies at the beginning of 2025 with a clear objective: to create an elevated nanny hiring experience for Portland area parents. Before launching this local nanny agency, I was a professional nanny and worked with existing agencies here in Portland. Through my own experience, I came to recognize gaps in the industry. Families needed intentional matchmaking and consistent support. Nannies needed an agency that valued their service. I created Pearl Nannies to fill that space.

Every family is unique, and we tailor our placement services to reflect their priorities. We offer full-time and part-time nanny placements for long-term care. We can do shorter-term placements, with a minimum duration of 4 weeks, but we leave one-time and occasional care to other childcare agencies (I recommend Spilt Milk Nannies). Our specialty is creating nanny-family matches that are made to last.

Along with our matching approach, our full-service nanny placement experience is what sets us apart. Hiring a nanny can feel overwhelming, but we believe it doesn’t have to be. We do the heavy lifting and offer dedicated support from start to finish.
