- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a thorough background check
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- No smoking or vaping of any kind
How long will it take to find a job for me?
Our placement process is designed to create nanny-family matches that are made to last. We use a specialized job matching process to help you find a job that’s an excellent fit.
Positions offered through Pearl Nannies are highly competitive, so there’s no guarantee of when/if we will find the right position for you. We will continue to send you open roles that could be a good fit as long as you’re in our applicant pool.
What is the pay rate for positions offered through Pearl Nannies?
Our nannies set their own rates – $25-$30+ per hour is typical for one child, depending on your experience and qualifications. We include your hourly rates on your candidate profile that is sent to families.
Do you charge nannies any fees or deduct anything from their pay?
No. Our services are completely free to nannies, as we believe all ethical nanny agencies should operate.
Where can I view available jobs?
To protect the privacy of our clients and create intentional matches between nannies and families, we do not have a public job board. Instead, we use a specialized matching process to help you find a job that’s an excellent fit.
We collect your preferences for jobs (desired locations, weekly hours, age groups) on your application. When we have a position that aligns with what you’re seeking, we’ll reach out to schedule an interview.
